DETAILS ITINERARY

DAY1 :
Welcome to Marrakech. Transfer to Essaouira or overnight
At the Hotel in Marrakech

DAY2 : Diabat-Ida or Gourd
Our hike begins at the mouth of the oued Qsob and continues eastward, along the Wadi or river . A little later, we to move away and cross ochre sand dunes on which grow a few junipers. We then follow the fields preceding the souk of Ida or Gourd. This first day will be an opportunity to familiarize themselves with his horse and we’ll have a few opportunitiesof trot and Gallop for this on the regular track that brings back us to the River, at the foot of a hill with our first bivouac

DAY3 : Ida or Gourd-Ait Ouadil
Initially, we follow the foot of the Hill to reach the Valley of Aït Ameur.The trail is engulfed in gorges carved by the river. The presence of water allows the presence of olive trees and various plants including mainly the oleanders. We discover the remains of a seguia dating probably from the Portuguese presence, which was to supply water to sugar cane crops spread at that time. The word Qsob means cane in Arabic. There are also the remains of the system allowing crushing the cane to make the sweet juice. This sugar activity ended in 1620. We win more away from the hot springs popular to treat kidney function problems. These work for a decade. The continuation of the path that criss-cross again in the middle of small fields leads us into the Valley of AIT Ouadil (people of the vine) where we ask our second camp.

DAY4 : AIT Ouadil-Immin’tlit
The region today is that of Aït Zelten, one of the most beautiful of thecircuit. We will near ancient fortified villages (kasbahs) planted in the middle of the forest of argan trees and we’ll stop at the feet of the kasbah of Aït Zelten. Then, crossing hills alternating fields and woodlandsto the souk of Immin spaces ‘ tlit. Visit the cooperative of argan oil held by Berber women. Night in camp.

DAY5 : Immin’tlit-Aittizril
A little altitude back to then back towards the Valley of Neknafa. The trail descends almost steadily throughout the morning. Many small ancient villages built in stone, dominated by the Zaouia Sidi me hend or Slimane (Koranic school). We are committed in new narrow gorges. There are a multitude of caves some rooms in homes. The most importantis that of Lalla Taqendout, place of religious worship. Stop at the exit of the Gorge, where, very often, a small reserve of water invites to swimming. Further we can see the ruins of a large house – Dar Caid – former place of resistance to the French presence. The descent continues and the trail leads to the village of AIT Tizril. Night in bivouac or home stay « family house).

DAY6 : AIT Tizril-Sidi Kaouki
Directio the ocean. Our way along a Valley facing west, among the argan trees and herds of goats. We are then piped small white stones walls lined trails that connect the last villages before reaching the coast.The day ends with the approach of a large deserted beaches where it is possible to relax a little horses… The bivouac Isplanted on the Beach.

DAY7 : Sidi Kaouki-Essaouira
The last day will be entirely dedicated to the discovery of the coast. Succession of beaches, dunes, fishing villages and some cliffs or caps willwork around. Many marine birds with us, but also of many cows and camels! The rate of progress has accelerated and we eventually find the mouth of the oued Qsob, at the entrance of Essaouira .back to Marrakech en the end of afternoon

DAY8 : Transfert to Airport in Marrakech
