Trek through the villages of the Amizmiz Plain in this 8 day tour. Visit a Berber village called Ait Zitoun known for its olive trees; then proceed on foot to the village of Tizgui and enjoy the panoramic view of the plain of Haouz.
Move on to Ait Ahmad a village constructed with clay and stones, then experience the local lifestyle of the crossed villages, also visit Imin’Tala a large and the most important crossed Berber village, and finally reach Marrakech.
DETAILS ITINERARY
DAY1 : ARRIVAL TO AIRPORT AND TRANSFERT TO HOTEL OR RIAD IN MARRAKECH
DAY2 : TRANSFER FROM MARRAKECH TO THE VILLAGE OF AIT ZITOUN
Transfer from Marrakech to the village of Ait Zitoun (900m)where we meet our mule team and English speaking guide. From here we set off on a gentle walk of about 3 hours to our first night’s accommodation in a Berber house (gite).
DAY3 : Tizgui / Amizmiz / Ait Ahmed
Today our tour will take us on a gradual ascent towards the village of Tizgui (2200m ASL) where we will enjoy magnificent views across the Amizmiz area. After our picnic lunch we continue our trek down to Ait Ahmed (1200m ASL) a typical Berber village of mud houses where we will spend the night. There will be a total of about 5 hours walking.
DAY4 : IMEZMIZ RIVER VALLEY THROUGH SMALL VILLAGES
We walk along the Imezmiz river valley through small villages to arrive mid-afternoon in the larger village of Imi n’Talat where we will spend the night in a Berber house. Here we will enjoy freshly made Moroccan bread and a typical Moroccan meal. A total of 5hours walking.
DAY5 : BERBER VILLAGES
A walk of about four hours through typical Berber villages brings us to our vehicle for the transfer back to Marrakech
DAY6 : IMPERIALS CITIES OF MOROCCO

DAY7 : TRANSFER TO AIRPORT END OF MY SERVICE
